Privacy Policy for GemHaul
Last updated: 17 October 2026
GemHaul is a puzzle game for Android. This policy explains what information the game uses and why.
In short
- No account and no sign-in. We do not run any servers and do not collect your name, email or location.
- Your progress is stored on your phone.
- Ads are optional: you only see a video if you choose to watch one for an extra life. Ads are provided by Google AdMob.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
What is stored on your phone
The game stores your progress in its private storage on the phone: levels completed, pictures collected, coins, helpers, lives, the daily reward, a level you have started, and your sound and vibration settings. This information is not sent to us.
If Android backup is turned on, Android may include this progress in your Google account backup, so it can be restored on a new phone. This is controlled by your phone's settings and Google's privacy policy.
Optional video ads (Google AdMob)
When you are out of lives, you can choose to watch a video to get a life. These videos come from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with the ad.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
How Google uses this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Purchases (Google Play)
Coin packs are sold through Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment. The game only receives a confirmation that a purchase was made, so it can add the coins. We do not receive your name, email or payment details.
Children
GemHaul is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Deleting your data
You can delete all progress in Settings → Reset progress, or by uninstalling the game or clearing its storage in Android settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
